Hello love,
Next week, while your inbox fills with emails trying to sell you more stuff, I'll be lighting a candle and hold the space for a quieter, deeper kind of transformation.
I’m hosting Untangle Your Money Beliefs: a live, guided workshop for sensitive entrepreneurs who are done looping in guilt, fear, and shame around money. Women who want to finally feel at peace with it.
🗓️ Friday, November 28th at 1pm UK / 2pm CET
🎥 120-minute in-depth session (recording included)
💸 €55 (or €40 with the Soulful Pricing bundle)
What to expect?
This is not the kind of masterclass where I tell you to think positive thoughts and quantum leap your abundance (🙄)
It's the real work.
The actual work of sitting down and uncovering the layers that have been weighing you down.
I won't teach you a better mindset, but you will learn how to meet yourself with compassion instead of control.
You’ll leave with clarity, a healing modality you can use again and again, and a sense of calm that no spreadsheet alone can ever give you.
Now, let me tell you why I teach this.
Have you ever thought that you could only make decent money if you worked extremely hard? Maybe to the point of self-sacrifice?
Me too.
As I've shared in a recent email, my family money story is complicated, and my grandmother's story more specifically left a big impact on me.
I always admired her.
Not only did she divorce her husband, taking her power back after years of emotional, physical and financial abuse, but she was also always a fighter.
She knew how to survive and how to strive for a better life.
💪 When her kids went hungry in post-war Italy, she relocated to Belgium.
💪 When she didn't find a job as a seamstress, she got hired in an ice-cream factory and got her husband a job there too.
💪 When the factory closed, she found a position in a genitor in a bank in central Brussels. She got her husband a job there too. And her two daughters (my mother as a cleaner, my aunt as a secretary).
💪 When the bank went bankrupt, she became a full-time governess in a rich household, and my grandfather retired.
💪 When that job ended, she started cleaning the toilets of a big supermarket and took pride saying her toilets were the cleanest in the country.
💪 When she divorced and moved in her own place, she got hired to help an elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer, every day, from 7am to 7pm.
My grandmother worked until she was 85 years old.
She never complained. She was grateful. And she was the most generous person around.
She hosted dinners at home every week-end, inviting friends & neighbors for her famous lasagne or panzerotti.
How did she ever find all that energy?
"It's my pleasure", she used to say. And so naturally, I wanted to be like her.
Nothing wrong with that, until it pushes you into burnout...
The way out
It is only later, when I discovered IFS (Internal Family Systems) that I was able to listen to the inner stories:
- You survive by working hard.
- You share everything you possess.
- You don't complain.
I knew about these beliefs earlier, but I was resisting them. Fighting them. Repressing them.
And when I finally listened... everything softened.
I realised I didn’t need to fix my beliefs, I needed to understand the stories beneath them.
That’s what Untangle Your Money Beliefs is for: a gentle, grounded process to meet the parts of you still equating money with danger, duty, or guilt.
And help them rest at last.
If you're ready for this kind of softening, join us.
Power and light,
Jessica
