Hello love,
If you've been in business for more than 6 months, you now know that this isn't a walk in the park.
We find ways to make it sustainable, soulful, meaningful. We find ways to make it as aligned and doable as possible for our unique self, with our unique personalities, preferences and current limitations.
I've given up many practices that don't align with my sensitivity over the years, and I have no regrets.
But still. It's hard.
One of the hardest thing for me to do is to reach out to people.
I want to do it. I love this strategy. I'm happy once it's done.
But with rejection sensitivity, it's flipping hard to psych myself to do it despite parts of me screaming to hide under the blankets. And then to bring myself to a state of calm again once I've taken action.
If this happens to you too, I want you to know that it means nothing about you.
It doesn't mean that you're not cut out for business.
It doesn't mean that you have to "toughen up".
It doesn't necessarily mean that this strategy isn't for you either.
What it means is that you need to support yourself better as you do the hard things.

It doesn't become easy, but it does get much much better.
