Hello love,
I find it fascinating how the (adhd) mind tends to overestimate what we're capable of doing in a short amount of time, but under-estimate the potential of compound efforts & rhythms.
So often, when I'm in planning mode, I become so completely disconnected from reality. From what's possible and realistic, but also from what my body craves, what this season is calling me for and that is different than last season.
Because not all quarters are meant to be the same.
We're not supposed to work in our garden in the same way year-round. Yet if we pace ourselves, and work soulfully, strategically, patiently, in sync with our nature, amazing things can happen.
It’s been almost a year now since I came back to business after burnout, and it has already been huge.
✨ I’ve published regularly on Substack and gained 152 subscribers.
✨ Created 5 freebies, published 3.
✨ Wrote and rewrote my welcome sequences.
✨ Launched my website.
✨ Pitched my services consistently.
✨ Supported 9 clients behind the scenes of their businesses.
That’s a lot. And maybe there’s no need to keep pushing for more this last quarter.
Maybe this is the season for soft introspection.
For improving and tweaking what’s already been created. For nourishing the soil of the next phase. For reaping the fruits of our labour and nourishing ourselves with new learnings, with fulfilling relationships, good food, good music and deep stretches.
After all, isn’t that what autumn is all about?
Journaling prompt from our club
🌸 How does this change of season show up in my body, my energy, and my mood right now? What does “enough” look like for me in my business between now and the end of the year?
Hit reply and let me know, I'd love to hear from you.
Power and light,
Jessica
