A few months ago, I was on a discovery call with a potential coaching client. I wasn't sure yet what type of work we would do together, and I came with an open mind and an open heart, like I usually do.

(For me, discovery calls are a true moment of "discovery", not of sales. I show up to understand your needs and orient you the best I can.)

After some clarity, we both agreed on the right support for her. She was over the moon and really excited to get started, and so was I to have met an ideal client.

I told her I'd send her all the details of our work together, including the price, via email so she could take her time to make an informed decision. Again, I never sell on a discovery call.

So far so good.

Until, of course, I had to actually send the email. And include the price.

I froze.

"Wait, is this pricing even fair?" - "What if she can't afford it, I really want to work with her." - "Maybe I should cut the price in half, just this once, and gain more experience." - "Is there a course I should take to train *again* in what I *already* do, that would justify better this price?"

It took me a couple of hours to be able to come back to my senses and write the email with the correct, pre-calculated price of the program.

I had to regulate my nervous system first, recognize that my thoughts were only thoughts, only the projections of my fears and past stories, and surely I wouldn't let that talk me out of my conscious decisions.

And I went back to my pricing system (a google spreadsheet), to review why it was that I had priced this offer in this way.

By the time I send that email, I had zero doubt that this pricing was fair for everyone, and I made a mental note to always keep this spreadsheet nearby.

(because with adhd if it's not clearly in front of your eyes, it doesn't exist, right?)

I'm telling you this story because I want you to know that finding yourself hesitant about pricing or announcing the prices of your offers is quite normal, especially for highly sensitive people who care about our world.

There's nothing wrong with you. There's nothing to fix in your mindset. And no it doesn't mean that you're not cut out to be in business.

What it means is that you might, like me, simply need a sound and reasonable plan, so you can stop the spiral of thoughts.

A system that shows you with numbers (numbers don't lie!) what your capacity actually is, and what your prices should be so your business can support your life.

So you stop being over-working and being exhausted for a bank account that quite frankly, could do better.

Because, my love, being fair is never fair if it doesn't include you too.
