I’ve been thinking a lot about seasons lately, the weather ones and how they intertwine with the ones we live through in our work, our energy, and our dreams.
Since September, I’ve felt a pull toward something different. As I had reached full capacity with client work, I felt immediately, underneath the full gratitude, some sort of restlessness.
A knowing, that now was time to change how I'd been organizing my business, because what got me here wouldn’t take me where I want to go next.
It isn't about working harder or chasing more, gosh no.
It's about building differently.
Because business, like life, is cyclical. A spiral that carries us upward, slowly, each year, as we revisit what matters most with a little more wisdom, a little more courage, a little more ease.
Winter, in that way, is a season of integration, and it doesn't end on December 31st. That's why it seems so nonsensical to me to believe that on January 2nd we'll come up with enough sustainable energy to "start fresh".
There's no rush. This is the time of introspection and aligned planing. Not yet planting.
